Manually trimming tracks

The trim track dialog allows you to adjust the begin and end of a track manually. Open the trim track dialog from a track in the details panel by right clicking and selecting "Trim Track" in the track action menu. You can also open the trim track dialog from the now playing track or an entry in the now playing track list by clicking the track action button and also selecting "Trim Track" in the track action menu.

The upper part shows the complete waveform of the track. Low frequencies are drawn in red, high frequencies are drawn in yellow and the whole frequency range is drawn in grey.

The two lower waveforms show the currently defined begin of a track to the left and the currently defined end of the track to the right in a higher zoom level. The Zoom slider allows you to increase the zoom level of the lower two waveforms even further.

When opened, playback of the track will start at the currently defined track beginning that is indicated by the left vertical green line in the upper waveform display. The end is indicated with a vertical green line to the right.

Click and drag anywhere into the upper waveform to change the currently playing position.

Click on the left vertical green line or click into the lower left waveform without dragging to listen from the beginning of the song. Click on the right vertical green line or into the lower right waveform to listen from a few seconds before the end of the track to the end of the track.

Drag the left vertical green line or the lower left waveform to change the begin of the track.

Drag the vertical green line to the right or the lower left waveform to change the end of the track.

Click "Apply" to close the dialog and save the new track begin and end. Click "Cancel" to close the dialog and keep the previous track begin and end.
